The catamaran rental was a terrible experience. As responsible clients, we paid the full rental price many months in advance. Normally, you pay a portion at the beginning and the rest closer to the date—but we paid everything upfront. We asked all the necessary questions in advance, and Angie answered them. As a salesperson, she simply said “yes” to everything. We specifically asked her to inform us clearly so we wouldn’t face unpleasant surprises. Instead, she cheerfully reassured us, only to deliver exactly the surprises we wanted to avoid. When the time came to set sail, we were greeted by a rather rude man (Giannis), who gave us instructions—along with changed prices! To our surprise, he demanded that the remaining balance be paid in cash. We were also charged for towels (which we had been told were included), and other things we had been promised but were not provided (such as video equipment that Angie had assured us was available). The catamaran itself was not fully equipped and in terrible condition. It was not only old and worn out, but also broken and poorly maintained. The mosquito nets were torn, making them useless. The cabins were impossible to use due to an unbearable sewer/toilet odor. The boat was missing so many basic items that at every island we had to purchase utensils. You enjoyed your holidays without any operational issues, raised no concerns during the charter, and only after your return did you attempt to pressure and manipulate the situation in order to obtain financial compensation.
